Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Volodymyr Vechirnii (shown in the App Store as
“Volodymyr Vechirnii”) (“I”, “me”, “my”) handle information in my products, including the
Speak2Work English mobile application and the website available at
sunseaapps.com.
1. Summary
I collect only the minimum information needed to operate, secure, and improve my apps.
I do not sell your data, I do not use third-party advertising SDKs,
and I do not track you across other apps or websites.
- No account is required to use the current version of Speak2Work English.
- The current version of Speak2Work English does not use the device microphone. If future versions add speaking practice features, this Policy will be updated accordingly.
- I use diagnostics and crash reports (for example, Firebase Crashlytics) to keep the app reliable.
2. What this Policy covers
This Policy applies to:
- the Speak2Work English app published under my Apple Developer account (listed as “Volodymyr Vechirnii”);
- any future variants of Speak2Work English that link to this page;
- the website available at sunseaapps.com and related landing pages for my apps.
3. Information I collect
3.1. Information you provide directly
-
Support messages. If you contact me by email, I receive your email address and
any information you include in the message. I use it only to respond and to improve my services.
3.2. Microphone audio
The current version of Speak2Work English does not access or record microphone audio.
If in the future I add speaking or voice-practice features that use the microphone,
this section will be updated and you will see a clear permission prompt inside the app.
3.3. Device and app diagnostics
To keep the app stable and to understand basic usage patterns, I may collect
limited technical data such as:
- device model, operating system version, preferred language/locale;
- anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers generated by the app or platform;
- crash logs, error reports, and basic performance metrics.
This information is typically processed by platform services and analytics
tools such as Firebase Crashlytics or similar diagnostics providers.
It is used only to fix bugs, improve performance, and maintain security.
3.4. Website analytics and logs
My website hosting and analytics providers may collect standard server logs
(for example, IP address and browser type) and anonymous usage statistics.
I use this information to keep the site secure and to understand which pages
are most helpful.
4. How I use your information
- To provide core app features (lessons, listening practice, voice practice where available).
- To maintain and improve app reliability, performance, and user experience.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or technical issues.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To meet legal and platform requirements (for example, App Store or Google Play policies).
5. Third-party services
I rely on certain third-party services to run my apps and website. These services may
process limited data on my behalf, under their own privacy terms:
- Apple App Store / Google Play. For app distribution, updates, and basic store analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics / similar diagnostics. For crash reporting and performance monitoring.
- Hosting and content delivery providers. To serve app assets, audio files, and the website.
I do not authorize these providers to use your data for their own marketing or to build
advertising profiles about you.
6. Data sharing and sales
- I do not sell your personal data.
- I do not share data with third parties for their own advertising or cross-app tracking.
-
I may share data only:
- with service providers that help me operate the apps (under contracts that limit use);
- to comply with legal obligations or lawful requests from authorities;
- to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, myself, or others.
7. Retention
I keep diagnostics and analytics data only as long as necessary for the purposes
described above, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Support emails are
retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and maintain
appropriate records. Temporary audio used for voice practice is not retained longer
than required for that feature to function, unless you explicitly save it inside the app.
8. Your choices and controls
-
Microphone access. You can grant or revoke microphone permission at any time
in your device settings. If you turn it off, speaking practice features that require
the microphone will not be available.
-
Emails and support. You can choose not to send me support emails. If you do,
you control what information is included.
-
Data access and deletion. You can request deletion of data reasonably
linkable to your device or email by contacting me at
[email protected]. When you do, please include
details (for example, device model, app version, or screenshots) so I can locate the
relevant records.
9. Children
My apps are designed for learners aged 13 and older and are not directed to children
under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe
that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, please contact me and I
will take steps to delete it.
10. International use
I operate from Canada. Depending on your location and on my service providers, your data may
be processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries. I take reasonable steps to ensure
that appropriate safeguards are in place when data is processed in other regions.
11. Changes to this Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy as I add new features or to reflect legal and regulatory
changes. When I do, I will update the “Effective” date at the top of this page. For
significant changes, I may also show an in-app notice or require you to review the updated
policy inside the app.
