This Privacy Policy explains how SunSea Apps (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information in our apps (including Speak2Work and other titles) and on sunseaapps.com.
We collect the minimum data needed to operate and improve the apps. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third‑party advertising SDKs. Voice features are optional; microphone audio is used solely to power speaking practice.
Where feasible, speech processing and lesson progress are handled on‑device. If a cloud service is temporarily used for scoring or text‑to‑speech, we transmit only what is necessary to deliver the feature and do not store raw audio longer than needed to process the request.
We may use platform services such as Google Play (billing, updates) and optional analytics/crash reporting (e.g., Google/Firebase). These providers process limited data under their own privacy terms.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data for third‑party advertising. We may share data only to comply with law, to protect users, or to operate our services (e.g., cloud hosting, crash diagnostics) under contracts that limit use.
Diagnostics and analytics are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above, after which they are aggregated or deleted. Temporary audio used for scoring is not kept beyond processing unless you explicitly save it in the app.
Our apps are designed for learners aged 13+ and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
We operate from Canada. Data may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other regions where our service providers operate, with appropriate safeguards.
We may revise this Policy as we ship new features or to reflect legal changes. We’ll update the “Effective” date above and, when material, show an in‑app notice.
